Note: Some notebook PCs will have either a 2
or 3 prong connector at the end of its power
cord. You will need to select the appropriate
connector when connecting your power
supply cable to the surge.

Connect your notebook PC’s
power cord to the surge
protector.

Connect the cord of the surge
protector to your power supply
brick. Note: Some power supply
brick may either 2 or 3 prongs
inserts. You will need to select the
appropriate connector to the surge
protector cable to connect to your
power supply brick.

Pull the 4ft. retractable cable from the surge protector
and connect it to your phone line or network connection.
Note: You may need to use the Phone to Network
adapter. It is important to use the same adapter types
when using this device.

Connect either your phone line or network cable to the
appropriate port on your PC and plug your power supply
brick into an available AC outlet. Your surge protector is
now ready for use. Once in use, the LED indicator on the
surge will illuminate.

To automatically retract the cable, press the retract
button located underneath the surge protector.


WARNING:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture. Dangerous high voltages are present inside the enclosure. Do not remove the
covers. There are no user serviceable parts. Only Micro Innovations may service or repair this product.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTION: 1. Please read and observe all safety and operating instructions before installing your Notebook Surge Protector. Retain these instructions for
future reference. 2. Your Notebook Surge Protector should not be used near water – for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, near a
swimming pool, etc. 3. Do not place your Notebook Surge Protector near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances that produce heat. 4. The
Notebook Surge Protector should only be connected to a 110/120 VAC, 60Hz, 15 amp grounded electrical outlet. Do not defeat the ground or change polarization of the power plug.
5. Route the power cord and other cables so that they are not likely to be walked on, tripped over, or stressed. Pay particular attention to the condition of the cords and cables at the
plugs, and the point where they exit your Notebook Surge Protector. To prevent risk of fire or injury, damaged cords and cables should be replaced immediately.
