Welcome to the Operating Manual for the Sprinter II camera support
tripods from Miller. Sprinter II tripods feature Miller’s revolutionary Sprint-
Loks (Patented.) leg clamping system, and are designed to be used in
conjunction with 100mm ball leveling fluid heads to support lightweight
portable video cameras in a professional environment.
Sprinter II tripods are available as Single-Stage or 2-Stage extension
tripods, supplied with your choice of high-strength, ultra-light carbon fiber
or durable, anodised aluminum leg tubing.
Sprinter II are professional tripods designed for continuous use, and
combine light weight and ease of set-up with rapid, stable and durable
performance. They are constructed from the highest quality polymers and
corrosion-resistant die cast and machined alloy components to offer high
impact resistance and long-term durability under extreme location condi-
tions and temperatures ranging from –40°C to +65°C.
The Sprinter II tripod range is available in a choice over 20 systems with
Miller’s Arrow and DS range of fluid heads and Mid Level or Ground
Spreaders. These systems deliver the ultimate in rugged, rapid deploy-
ment camera support for ENG crews, freelance camera operators, as well
as corporate and educational users.
