The MINOX DC 8022 WP opens new horizons
for digital photography with MINOX! With its
sturdy metal body that is watertight up to a
depth of ten meters this compact digital camera
fights off dust, water, sand and salt and has
been specially designed for work in a rough
environment. The new MINOX is therefore
not only an absolute highlight for extreme
sports and outdoor activities, it is also at home
in the industry and the construction field.
Measuring just 95 x 59.5 x 20.5 mm its slim
and ergonomic design makes it the perfect companion for outdoor activities. Eight meg-
apixels guarantee a superb image resolution,
rendering every detail in magnificent contrast
and pin-sharp definition.
And not only mountain trekkers with their
spectacular views will appreciate the pano-
rama function of the new DC 8022 WP. With this
feature 360° panorama shots can be captured
with ease on the SD card. An electronic image
stabilizer additionally reduces camera shake,
even when hands start to wobble.
The high performance of the 2.5 inch color
monitor with excellent light transmission is
shown off to its best advantage when shoot-
ing underwater images. The autofocus lens
with 3x optical, interior zoom and the macro
function provide great flexibility when framing
the subject, both in and out of water.
The menu operation is easy and self-explana-
tory. Depending on the situation there are 24
subject exposure programs to choose from,
ranging from the sports mode to nighttime
shots up to underwater shooting. And the
friendliest option of all with this camera is
the Smile Detection. This feature scans faces
for the very best smile – and then shoots the
picture. Another unusual and a very original
additional option for the creative photographer
is the Coupling Shot. This enables two images
to be merged into one – a real treasure chest
for creative photo superimposition.

DC 8022 WP includes a Lithium-Ion battery,
an AC Adaptor, processing software, driver
CD, USB/video cable, case, strap and the User
Manual.
