When Airplane Mode is set to On, your phone displays
indicators and a message on the main screen:

Your phone’s four-digit lock code is originally set to the
last four digits of your phone number. To change the
lock code:

From the main screen, press the
M
Key (MENU) to
open the menu.

Use the Directional Key (
N
) to scroll to
Settings &
Tools and press the
M
Key (OK).

Scroll to Phone Settings and press the
M
Key (OK).

Scroll to Security and press the
M
Key (OK).

When prompted, enter the lock code and press the
M
Key (OK).

With Edit Codes highlighted, press the
M
Key (OK).

With Phone Only highlighted, press the
M
Key (OK).

Enter the new four-digit lock code in the Enter New
Code entry area, then press down on the Directional
Key (
N
) to move the cursor into the Re-Enter New Code
entry area. Re-enter the new four-digit lock code.

Press the
M
Key (OK).
