4. USING THE CAMERA
1. Select a suitable place to mount the camera. It is a good idea to connect the camera to a
TV or surveillance monitor first; This allows you to see the camera image on screen and
choose the best location to ensure a good field of vision. Avoid any direct sunlight falling
onto the lens, as this affects the image clarity.
Make sure you place the camera in a sheltered location if the camera is mounted outdoors.
The camera is splash-waterproof conforming to the IP44 norm. The camera can become
wet, but heavy jets of water or torrential rain penetrating the camera may cause damage.
THE POWER ADAPTER SHOULD ALWAYS BE PLACED INDOORS
2. Attach the wall bracket included. Only use the wall bracket included in the set. Never drill
holes into the camera casing.
3. If you want to feed the connection cable through walls, make sure you drill a large enough
hole to allow the MINI DIN plug and the cable to pass through without being damaged.
Don’t pull the cable too hard.
