If you do not see the ruler below the Subject, choose View |
Ruler.
Drag to change the
left margin for the
first line of a
paragraph. Drag to change the
left margin after the
first line of a
paragraph.
Tab stop
To add a tab stop: click on the ruler
where you want it.
To move a tab stop: drag it along the
ruler.
To delete a tab stop: click it, and drag
downward, away from the ruler.
Drag to move
both left margin
markers
together.
Drag to
change the
right margin.
If you create a new paragraph by
pressing Enter at the end of an
existing paragraph, the new
paragraph retains the margins and
tabs of the existing paragraph.
