6.5 (CONFIG) REMCONT (Remote control)
Select Local, Serial or Ethernet using the ◄ ► arrow keys, then press ENTER.
If Local is selected then remote control will be disabled. Remote monitoring is still
possible.
6.5.1 (CONFIG, REMOTE) SERIAL
If Serial is selected and if the unit has not been defined as an EDMAC SLAVE then:
then the following sub-menus will be displayed:

If Interface is selected:
Select RS232, RS485 (2-wire), or RS485 (4-wire), using the
◄ ► arrow keys,
then press ENTER. At this point the user will be further prompted to enter the
bus address.
If RS232 is selected, the following menu is displayed:
(CONFIG, REM, SERIAL, INTFC, ADDR) RS485 BUS
ADDRESS
However, if either RS485 mode is selected, the user will be further prompted:
Edit the RS485 bus address of this unit. This is accomplished by selecting the
digit to be edited, using the
