QoS (Quality of Service) Configuration Page

The QoS Configuration page is activated from the Main Menu page.



The QoS Configuration page contains the following options/fields:

Select to define QoS rules for DiffServ Mode

Maximum System Latency
(msecs)

A

Defines the maximum duration that a packet will sit in
a QoS queue before being aged out and dropped.
This allows the user to specify the overall depth of the
QoS queues in milliseconds of traffic that is destined
to go over the satellite. Lower priority packets are
dropped first until there is enough room to send the
higher priority packets.

Valid range is from 200 to 5000 milliseconds.

Save Parameters

S

This option allows a user to save the current
configuration to permanent storage. This configuration
will be restored on each successive power cycle.

Exit

X

This option allows a user to exit the current menu and
return to its parent menu.
