PANEL DETAILS
CONSTRUCTION
• Four-layer door (Steel + Insulation + Steel + Composite Overlay).
• Base door contains 2" or 1 3 / 8
" thick polystyrene insulation.
(2" base= 9.0 R-Value) (1 3 / 8
" base= 6.5 R-Value)
• Overlay is made of 5 / 8 "
thick custom composite material.
• Commercial grade 14 gauge steel hinges for long-lasting performance.
• High-cycle nylon rollers for quiet operation.
• Bottom weatherseal in rust-proof, aluminum retainer.
STYLE AND FINISH
• Base door has a natural woodgrain texture, painted with a baked-on
primer and polyester top coat.
• Overlay in White only with a detailed beveled, coped edge.
• All windows are double strength

" clear glass with removable
beveled overlay grille for easy cleaning. (2" base door includes
insulated windows.)
• EZ-SET Torsion Springs are STANDARD on most doors; see Millwork
Team Member for specific details.
SIZES
• Four-section doors available in 6'6", 7', 7'6" and 8' heights only.
• Heights are determined using a combination of 18" and/or
24" sections.
• Available in 8', 9', 10', 12', 15', 15'5", 16' and 18' widths.
• Series 2 Models MX22/MF22 and MX23/MF23 and Series 3 Models
MX34/MF34 and MX35/MF35 are not available in 12' widths.
SPECIAL NOTES
• An automatic garage door opener (minimum 1 / 2
HP)
is recommended.
• 15" radius track standard. 14" of headroom is required plus 3"
for a garage door opener. Interior slide lock standard.
• Door and overlay can be painted any color except black or colors
with a light reflective value (LRV) lower than 8.
Painting doors with colors lower than LRV 8 will void warranty.
