Joining a Call ("Barging In")

An internal user conducts an external call. A second
internal user can join in on this call and speak to the
other users.

Scroll to Base Settings and press OK.

Barging In

LINE IN USE

When you see Line in Use in the display or the LED
on top of the handset is lit, you may join in.



Press the Talk key and a beep will signal the active
call.

LISTENING IN

During the call, you see the display Listening In.



Press the End key.

or

Replace the handset in the base station or charger
to leave the call.

Turning the Ringer On/Off

All handsets ring when there is an incoming call.
You can turn off the ringer.

Hold down the asterisk key until the handset does
not ring any more.

The ringer is deactivated.

To reactivate the ringer, press the asterisk key.

The default is On.
