Attaching the ring light
(See illustration C)
1 Firmly attach the adaptor ring to the digital still camera.
(Procedure 1)
2 Firmly attach the operating part to the advanced accessory
shoe of the digital still camera. (Procedure 2)
3 Attach the ring part to the adaptor ring. (Procedure 3)
*Attach the ring part with its release button at the top.
Note
Be careful not to scratch the lens when attaching the adaptor ring.
When using DSC-V3
1 Attach the optional adaptor ring (VAD-VHA) to the digital
still camera. (Procedure 1)
You can also use the adaptor ring supplied with one of the following
accessories;
Tele end conversion lens (VCL-DEH17VA), Lens hood (LSF-VHA)
2 Firmly attach the adaptor ring to the optional adaptor ring.
(Procedure 2)
3 Firmly attach the operating part to the advanced accessory
shoe of the digital still camera. (Procedure 3)
4 Attach the ring part to the adaptor ring. (Procedure 4)
*Attach the ring part with its release button at the top.
Removing the ring light
1 Remove the ring part from the adaptor ring by pushing the
release button.
2 Remove the operating part from the advanced accessory shoe
of the digital still camera.
3 Remove the adaptor ring.
When using DSC-V3, remove the optional adaptor ring together.
Precautions to be taken when removing the optional adaptor
ring
When removing the optional adaptor ring from the adaptor ring of the
ring light, put a soft cloth over the optional adaptor ring, and slowly
unscrew it. (See illustration D)
Using the ring light
For details, refer to the Operating Instructions of your digital still camera.

Set the POWER switch of the digital still camera to “ON.”
2 Set the mode dial of the digital still camera to any mode except
“AUTO.”
3 Set the flash of the digital still camera to “ (No flash).”
4 Set the POWER switch of the operating part of the ring light to
“ON.”
5 Set the white balance to “ (One push SET).”
6 Set the digital still camera to macro shooting mode.
When using a close-up lens (optional), you do not need to set to macro
shooting mode.
7 Point the digital still camera at the subject and shoot.
When the ring light is attached to the digital still camera, the weight of
the lens part makes it unstable. We recommend using a tripod or
supporting the lens part with your left hand.
Notes
• Reset the white balance if you have changed the LEVEL switch of the
operating part.
• Do not pick up the digital still camera by the ring light attached. The
digital still camera may fall.
Switches and lighting of the ring
light
(See illustration E)
• If you set the LEVEL switch of the operating part to “LO,” the
illumination intensity becomes approximately half, however, the lighting
time is extended.
• After the battery end, the ring light may light up again when you set the
POWER switch to “ON.” This is not malfunction.
Meaning of POWER LED states
• When it lights (green)
Batteries have sufficient power.
• When it flashes slow (red) (Battery Pre-End)
Prepare new batteries.
*The flashing time changes depending on the battery type being used.
• When it flashes fast (red) (Battery End)
The ring light is put out.
The batteries are run down.
Replace with new batteries.

1 Insérez bien la bague d’adaptation sur l’objectif de l’appareil

2 Rattachez la partie fonctionnelle à la griffe porte-accessoires de
l’appareil photo numérique. (Etape 2)
3 Insérez la partie circulaire sur la bague d’adaptation. (Etape 3)
*Le poussoir sur la partie circulaire doit être orienté vers le haut.
Remarque
Attention de ne pas rayer l’objectif lorsque vous insérez la bague
d’adaptation.
Si vous utilisez un DSC-V3
1 Insérez la bague d’adaptation (VAD-VHA) sur l’objectif de
l’appareil photo numérique. (Etape 1)
Vous pouvez aussi utiliser la bague d’adaptation fournie avec les
accessoires suivants:
Convertisseur à extrémité téléobjectif (VCL-DEH17VA),
Parasoleil (LSF-VHA)
2 Insérez bien la bague d’adaptation sur la bague
d’adaptation en option. (Etape 2)
3 Rattachez bien la partie fonctionnelle à la griffe porte-
accessoires de l’appareil photo numérique. (Etape 3)
4 Insérez la partie circulaire sur la bague d’adaptation.

Retrait de la lampe circulaire
1 Retirez la partie circulaire de la bague d’adaptation en
appuyant sur le poussoir.
2 Retirez la partie fonctionnelle de la griffe porte-accessoires de
l’appareil photo numérique.
3 Retirez la bague d’adaptation.
Si vous utilisez le DSC-V3, retirez aussi la bague d’adaptation en
option.
Précautions à prendre lors du retrait de la bague d’adaptation
en option
Lorsque vous retirez la bague d’adaptation en option de la bague
d’adaptation de la lampe circulaire, dévissez doucement la bague
d’adaptation en option en posant un chiffon dessus. (Voir l’illustration
D)
Utilisation de la lampe circulaire
Pour le détail, reportez-vous au mode d’emploi de l’appareil photo
numérique.

Réglez le commutateur POWER de l’appareil photo numérique
sur « ON ».
2 Réglez le sélecteur de mode de l’appareil photo numérique sur
« AUTO ».
3 Réglez le flash de l’appareil photo numérique sur « (sans
flash) ».
4 Réglez le commutateur POWER de la partie fonctionnelle de la
lampe circulaire sur « ON ».
5 Réglez la balance des blancs sur « (SET une pression) ».
6 Mettez l’appareil photo numérique en mode Macro.
Si vous utilisez un objectif gros plan (en option), vous n’aurez pas
besoin de mettre l’appareil photo en mode Macro.
7 Dirigez l’appareil photo numérique vers le sujet et prenez la
photo.
Lorsque la lampe circulaire est sur l’appareil photo numérique, le poids
de la partie objectif le déstabilise. Pour y remédier il est conseillé
d’utiliser un trépied ou de soutenir l’objectif avec la main gauche.
Remarques
• Réglez à nouveau la balance des blancs si vous avez changé la position
du commutateur LEVEL de la partie fonctionnelle.
• Ne saisissez jamais l’appareil photo numérique par la lampe circulaire
car il risque de tomber.
Commutateurs et éclairage de la
lampe circulaire
(Voir l’illustration E)
• Si vous mettez le commutateur LEVEL de la partie fonctionnelle en
position « LO », l’intensité de l’éclairage sera réduite de moitié, mais
l’autonomie de la lampe sera plus longue.
• Lorsque les piles sont vides, la lampe circulaire peut s’allumer de
nouveau lorsque vous mettez le commutateur POWER en position
« ON ». C’est normal.
Signification des différents états du
témoin POWER
• Lorsque le témoin s’allume (vert)
Les piles sont suffisamment chargées.
• Lorsque le témoin clignote lentement (rouge) (Piles presque
épuisées)
Préparez de nouvelles piles.
*La durée du clignotement change selon les piles utilisées.
• Lorsque le témoin clignote rapidement (rouge) (Fin des piles)
La lampe circulaire est détachée.
Les piles sont usées.
Remplacez les piles par des neuves.
Instalación de la lámpara anular

1 Fije firmemente el anillo adaptador a la cámara digital.

2 Fije firmemente la parte de operación a la zapata para
accesorios avanzados de la cámara digital. (Procedimiento 2)
3 Fije la parte anular al anillo adaptador. (Procedimiento 3)

Nota
Tenga cuidado para no rayar el objetivo cuando instale el anillo adaptador.

1 Fije un anillo adaptador (VAD-VHA) opcional a la cámara

Usted también podrá utilizar el anillo adaptador suministrado con
los accesorios siguientes:
Objetivo de conversión para telefoto (VCL-DEH17VA),
Parasol (LSF-VHA)
2 Fije firmemente el anillo adaptador al anillo adaptador

3 Fije firmemente la parte de operación a la zapata para
accesorios avanzados de la cámara digital.

4 Fije la parte anular al anillo adaptador. (Procedimiento 4)

Desinstalación de la lámpara anular
1 Retire la parte anular al anillo adaptador empujando el botón
de liberación.
2 Retire la parte de operación de la zapata para accesorios
avanzados de la cámara digital.
3 Retire el anillo adaptador.
Cuando utilice una DSC-V3, retire juntamente el anillo adaptador
opcional.
Precauciones a tomarse cuando se retire el anillo adaptador
opcional.
Para retirar el anillo adaptador opcional del anillo adaptador de la
lámpara anular, coloque un paño suave sobre el anillo adaptador
opcional, y desenrósquelo lentamente. (Consulte la ilustración D)
Utilización de la lámpara anular
Con respecto a los detalles, consulte el Manual de instrucciones de su
cámara digital.

Ponga el interruptor POWER de su cámara digital en “ON”.
2 Ajuste el dial de modo de la cámara digital a cualquier modo,
excepto ”AUTO”.
3 Ajuste el flash de la cámara digital a “ (Sin flash)”.
4 Ponga el interruptor POWER de la parte de operación de la
lámpara anular en “ON”.
5 Ajuste el equilibrio del blanco a ” (SET con una pulsación)”.
6 Ajuste la cámara digital al modo de fotografía con macro.
Cuando utilice una lente de ampliación (opcional), no necesitará ajustar
la cámara digital al modo de fotografía con macro.
7 Apunte con la cámara digital hacia el motivo y dispare.
Cuando la lámpara anular esté instalada en la cámara digital, el peso de
la parte del objetivo será inestable. Le recomendamos que utilice un
trípode o que sujete la parte del objetivo con su mano izquierda.
Notas
• Reponga el equilibrio del blanco si ha cambiado la posición el selector
LEVEL de la parte reoperación.
• No tome la cámara digital por la lámpara anular. La cámara digital
podría caerse.
Controles e indicadores de la
lámpara anular
(Consulte la ilustración E)
• Si ajusta el selector LEVEL de la parte de operación a “LO”, la intensidad
de iluminación será aproximadamente la mitad, pero el tiempo de
iluminación se prolongará.
• Después de agotarse las pilas/baterías, la lámpara anular puede volver a
encenderse cuando ponga el interruptor POWER “ON”. Esto no significa
mal funcionamiento.
Significado de los estados del LED
• Cuando esté encendido (verde)
Las pilas/baterías tienen suficiente energía.
• Cuando parpadee lentamente (rojo) (Agotamiento próximo)
Prepare pilas/baterías nuevas.
*El tiempo de la parpadeo variará dependiendo del tipo de pilas/baterías
que esté utilizando.
• Cuando parpadee rápidamente (rojo) (Agotamiento)
Se ha retirado la lámpara anular.
Las pilas/baterías están agotadas.
Reemplace las pilas/baterías por otras nuevas.
