Setting up your machine

Getting Started
Remote diagnosis protection
Remote diagnosis feature allows your machine to be checked by a service
company from a remote place through the phone line.
If you do not want to use the remote diagnosis feature and want to protect
your machine from being opened by an unauthorized person, you can
enable this remote diagnosis protection feature.
1. Press
Menu
, then press
System Setup
on the one-touch keypad.
The display shows ‘RINGER VOLUME ?’.

until you find ‘REMOTE DIAGNOSIS PROTECTION ?’,
then press
Start/Enter
.

The display asks you to turn the feature ON or OFF. Press

to turn it
ON, or
2
to turn it OFF
.

The display shows the next setup menu. To return to standby mode,
press
Stop.
Select language
You can select the LCD display language between english, german, etc.

System Setup
on the one-touch keypad.
The display shows ‘RINGER VOLUME ?’.

until you find ‘SELECT LANGUAGE ?’, then

Start/Enter

to choose the desired display language, then

. You can also press the number of the language in the
display.
4. The display shows the next setup menu. To return to Standby mode,

Stop.
