Press the "SET" button and you will see a num-
ber appear: 1, 2, or 3. These are each of the 3
memory zones/users explained on page 11.
From here on, the 3 party memory capability will
be referred to as "memory zones" or "zones".
Press the "SET" button to toggle between each
of three memory zones and to select the zone in
which you would like to store your measurement. Then press
the "START/STOP" button to begin the measurement
process. The monitor will automatically inflate to the level
that is right for you.

*If you select zone No. 1, your blood pressure will be record-
ed as one of the 30 readings available for that zone. The
same is true for zones 2 and 3. When taking measurements,
be sure and select the correct zone number so that the mea-
surement is registered to the appropriate zone.

Once the cuff is properly applied and you are seated with your
feet flat on the floor you are ready to take a measurement.

You will feel the cuff get tighter around your arm - this is nor-
mal. It should not inflate to the point of discomfort. If this
occurs, the cuff is secured too tightly. Press "START/STOP"
and rewrap the cuff leaving more room between your arm
and the cuff.

When your measurement is
complete the monitor will
deflate automatically, releasing
the air pressure in the cuff.

NOTE: Blood pressure constantly changes during the course of
a day. Occasionally high or low readings do not necessarily
mean your monitor is malfunctioning or that you are ill. It is
important to speak with your doctor to learn what your normal
blood pressure is and if you experience related abnormal mea-
surements.

Numbers will appear on the
digital display. This is the nor-
mal process the monitor goes
through to determine your blood pressure. Don’t be alarmed
if you notice the numbers quickly change, or go higher than
you believe your blood pressure to be.

The entire measurement
process should take less than a
minute. Once measurement is
complete, your blood pressure
and pulse measurements will be
displayed. The monitor will
automatically turn off after approximately one minute.
