Keys

The following list correlates to the front view illustration.

1.

Light sensor: Uses the light levels to adjust the screen’s

brightness and contrast.

In bright light conditions (outdoors) the phone increases keypad

brightness and contrast for better viewing.

While talking on the phone, if the sensors are blocked the phone

locks the keypad to prevent accidental key presses.

Power ON/OFF Button/Quick List key: Press and hold to turn

the device on or off. When the device is on, a short press

displays the Quick List screen. When the device is in

standby mode, a short press wakes the device up.

Volume keys: Adjusts the earpiece volume, or adjusts the

ringer volume in profile mode, or adjusts the voice volume

during a call. To mute the ringer during an incoming call,

press the volume key up or down. To reject an incoming

call, press the Ignore soft key or press and hold the up or

down volume key. This will send the call to your voicemail.

Left Soft key: Allows you to select soft key actions or menu

items corresponding to the bottom left line on the display

screen.

Send key: Short press to open the dialing screen. Press to

make or answer a call. In standby mode, press the key

once to access the Call History. If you press and hold the

key down, you will initiate the most recent call from the

Call History. During a call, press and hold will launch the

speakerphone option. During a call, a short press will place

the call on hold or unhold.

Home key: Short press to return to the Home screen from

any menu, submenu, or application. A long press will

launch the Task Manager screen.

OK key: Allows you to navigate the menu screens by

moving the key to the left, right, up, or down. It also allows

you to accept choices when navigating through a menu by

pressing down on the key.

8.

Voicemail key: Allows you to press and hold to

automatically dial your voicemail.

9.

Built in QWERTY Keypad: Allows you to enter numbers,

letters, and characters using a full Qwerty keypad

interface.
