PREPARATION
Your personal alarm requires one 12-volt
battery (not supplied) for power. For the
best performance and longest life, we rec-
ommend an alkaline battery, such as Ra-
dioShack Cat. No. 23-144.
Caution: Use only a fresh battery of the
required size and recommended type.
The personal alarm’s battery compart-
ment is concealed beneath the photo and
its transparent protective cover. Open the
alarm’s case and slide off the protective
cover and the paper picture behind it.
