Using the Battery 97
Charging the Battery

Attach the battery and connect the AC adapter to the DC-in jack of the computer.
The battery will then be charged.

When charging is complete, the Charge LED turns green.
Monitoring the Battery Charge
You can view the battery charge status by completing the following procedures.
Viewing the battery Charge from the Menu button
Press the Menu button and select Battery.
Viewing the Battery Charge the Control Panel
Select the Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Power Options >
Power Meter tab.
Status Charge LED
Charging Amber
Charging complete Green
AC adapter not connected Off
