To change the setting on the playback con-
trol screen
On the playback control screen, various settings can be changed at the same time.
Notes:

Some items may not be selected depending on the type of the disc.

If the RETURN
button is pressed while selecting an item or setting, the previ-
ous screen appears.

On DVD-Audio discs, groups and tracks appear instead of titles and chapters.
During playback, set the MODE 1/MODE 2 switch to MODE 1 and
press the DISPLAY button.
Each time you press, the display changes.
SACD:
Track elapsed time
Track number
Total elapsed time
CD:
Track elapsed time
Total elapsed time
In the stop mode (SACD/CD), select a track number with the

button.

During playback, set the MODE 1/MODE 2 switch to MODE 2 and
press the DVD SET UP button.

Press the or button to select the item, and press the ENTER
button.

5 Angle
6 Audio language
7 Gamma
8 Super picture
9 BIT RATE indicator (unchangeable)

Press the , , or button to change the setting and press the
ENTER button.
Example: Gamma is selected
Repeat the operation as instructed.
(The number of repetition depends on the setting item.)
To change other settings, begin from step 2.

Press the RETURN
button twice.
The setting is memorized and the playback screen reappears.
