When the surround mode is set to "STEREO" or "VIRTUAL" and the source signal
is monaural, the same monaural signal is played through both the left and right
channels.

Some discs are recorded at 96 kHz of sampling frequency. When this type of disc
is played, the sound mode is changed to "STEREO" automatically. The sound
mode cannot be changed during playback.

While the disc is playing, press the MULTI-CH button.

Dolby Pro Logic converts 2 channel
stereo sound of CDs, etc. to 5.1 chan-
nel.
When you press once, the last used setting appears. To change it, press the button

The bass level is increased for powerful sound effect.
MOVIE2:
Dynamic sound is produced with increased bass.

You can enjoy lively sound by producing the articulate sound.

Soft but powerful sound is achieved even at low volumes.
