12. To add a new word to the T9 dictionary:
Touch the T9 my words field, then touch Add. Enter the new word in the Add My Word field, then touch Done.
13. To add words to substitute (for example youve becomes you’ve) touch T9 auto-substitution, touch Add, and
then input the Shortcut word and Substitution word. Touch Done. Then touch Add.
14. Touch On or Off from the Vibrate on keypress field.
15. Touch On or Off from the Sound on keypress field.
16. Touch On or Off from the Auto-capitalization field.
Phone settings
You can customize various phone settings.
ᮣ From the Home screen, touch Quick List ➔ Settings ➔ Phone settings.
The following options display:
Vibration feedback
The Vibration feedback setting activates vibrating feedback whenever you touch a key on the keyboard or an item
on the menu.
1. From the Home screen, touch Quick List ➔ Settings ➔ Phone settings.
2. Touch the Vibration intensity slider and drag the slider to the intensity level you desire.
Security
The Security feature enables you to restrict the use of your phone by others and to restrict the types of calls. Various
codes and passwords are used to protect the features of your phone.

The following options display:
Lock phone
When the Lock Phone feature is enabled, the phone is locked and you must enter the 4- to 8-digit phone password
each time the phone is switched on.
