Replacing the battery
You can charge the battery loaded in AIBO by connecting the conversion plug
and AC adapter. But you can also exchange the battery for one that has been
charged with the Energy Station (separately available).

Press the pause button to pause AIBO.
Wait until the chest light goes out.
Note
The battery pack lock indicator lights in red while AIBO is accessing the “Memory
Stick”. To prevent damage to AIBO, do not remove the “Memory Stick” during
this time. The battery is locked until the data-saving procedure is complete.
Removing with force may damage AIBO.
