Moving recorded tracks

See the illustrations in Japanese text (page 56).

You can change the order of the recorded
tracks.

On the recorder

1

While playing the track you want to
move, press the jog dial.

Turn the jog dial until “EDIT” flashes in
the display, and then press to enter.

Turn the jog dial until “

: Move” flashes

in the display, and then press to enter.
The selected track number or name of
the group that the selected track belongs
flashes in the display. If the track has
been labeled, press > to make the
track name appear in the display. Press
.

to display the track number again.

Turn the jog dial until the destination
track number flashes in the display.

Press the jog dial to enter.
The track moves to the selected
destination track.

On the remote control

Press DISPLAY for 2 seconds or more.

Turn the control repeatedly until “EDIT”
flashes in the display, and then press x
to enter.

Turn the control repeatedly until “

:

Move” flashes in the display, and then
press x to enter.

4

Turn the control repeatedly to select the
destination track number.

5

Press x to enter.

To cancel moving

Press CANCEL on the recorder.
Press DISPLAY for 2 seconds or more on the
remote control.

Note

If the disc has group settings, turn group
mode on before moving a track. Moving a
track with group mode off may affect the
structure of the group.

Notes

• In step 5, the first track must be either the

first track of an existing group or a track that
does not belong to a group.

• When selecting the last track in step 4, make

sure the track comes after the one selected in
step 5. The last track must be either the last
track of an existing group or a track that
does not belong to a group.

To release a group setting

See the illustrations in Japanese text (page 55).

On the recorder

Press GROUP for 2 seconds or more to
turn the group mode on.

Play a group that you want to release and
check the contents (“Selecting and playing
groups (Group Skip Mode)” (page 101)).

Press x.

Press the jog dial.

Turn the jog dial until “EDIT” flashes in
the display, and then press to enter.

Turn the jog dial until “

: Release”

flashes in the display, and press to enter.
“Release?” and “PushENTER” appear in
the display.

7

Press the jog dial to enter.
The group setting of the selected group
is released.

On the remote control

Follow the procedure of “To activate the
group mode” (page 97) to turn the group
mode on.

Play a group that you want to release
and check the contents (see “Selecting
and playing groups (Group Skip Mode)”
(page 101)).

Press x.

Press DISPLAY for 2 seconds or more.

5

Turn the control repeatedly until “EDIT”
flashes in the display, and then press x
to enter.

6

Turn the control repeatedly until
“GPRelease” flashes in the display, and
then press x to enter.

7

Press x to enter.
