ICS, is for In-Cabinet Speaker. Placing conventional
speakers in cabinets, or near corners or walls causes
the sound to become cupped and chesty.
Snell ICS
speakers are referenced from our acclaimed “in-room”
models, then re-engineered for the boundaries and
conditions found in cabinets and millwork. Furthermore,
the ICS models are hand-finished in black texture paint,
ideal for these invisible locations.
The ICS Sub300, with its innovative mechanical design,
can be either front or down firing. The cleverly designed
enclosure allows the feet and 300 Watt amplifier to be
repositioned so that the long-throw, 10” woofer can be
placed firing downward, for a “slot grille” application, or
forward firing when in millwork with a full faced grille.
Derived from the Basis 300, the ICS Sub300 is a
compact 15” cube, capable of first octave bass at
levels 110dB, making it the perfect anchor for better
home theater systems.
