Preparation

To perform audio streaming, you first need to pair the unit and car audio unit.
Before starting, be sure to activate the Bluetooth signal both on this unit (page 43) and the car
audio unit.

In the menu display, touch

, then “Bluetooth.”

Select “Add Devices.”
A message asking you to set the car audio unit to discoverable appears.

Select “OK.”
After search is complete, the list of detected devices appears.
To list devices by address, select “Address.”
To list by name, select “Name.”*

* The address appears instead of the name if unavailable.

Select the car audio unit to register.
Pairing starts.

Enter the passkey.
Perform the required operation also on the car audio unit.
A message appears stating that the pairing is complete.

Pairing can also be performed by searching for this unit from the car audio unit.
For details, see the manual of the car audio unit.

Listening to audio through your car audio system

Before starting, reduce the volume on the car audio unit.

In the menu display, touch

, then “Bluetooth.”

Select “Select Audio Output.”

Select the car audio unit in the list.
The unit is connected to the selected car audio unit.

Start playback of audio files.
The playback sound is output from the car audio system.

5

Adjust the volume on the car audio unit.

To switch the output back to this unit
In step 3 above, select “Internal Speaker” in the list.
