your nearest Sony Service Center or Factory Service

Caution: Do not handle damaged or leaking lithium

ion batteriy.

The InfoLITHIUM is a lithium ion battery pack
which can exchange data with compatible video
equipment about its battery consumption.

When you use this battery pack with video
equipment having the

mark, the video

equiment will indicate the remaining battery time

batterie en minutes*. Cependant, si vous utilisez
un appareil vidéo qui ne porte pas ce logo, la
charge résiduelle de la batterie ne sera pas
indiquée en minutes.
* L’indication peut manquer de précision en

fonction des conditions et de l’environnement
d’utilisation de l’appareil. Si l’indication manque
de précision, épuisez complètement la batterie et
chargez-la ensuite à fond. L’indication sera alors
affichée avec précision. L’indication risque
cependant de ne pas être précise si vous utilisez
la batterie ou si vous la laissez longtemps dans
un endroit chaud ou encore après l’avoir utilisée
de nombreuses fois.

Utilisation de la batterie

Fixez correctement la batterie à l’appareil vidéo.

Reportez-vous au mode d’emploi de l’appareil
vidéo pour de plus amples informations.

Chargez la batterie au moyen d’un chargeur

spécifié comme l’adaptateur secteur AC-V615
avant son utilisation.

Reportez-vous au mode d’emploi du chargeur de

batterie pour connaître la procédure et le temps
de charge.

Le commutateur sur la batterie (

l’illustration)
Ce commutateur est prévu pour pouvoir identifier
une batterie chargée.

Lorsque vous retirez une batterie d’un chargeur

de batterie après l’avoir chargée, le commutateur
passe automatiquement en position “repère
vert”. Lorsque vous retirez une batterie d’un
appareil vidéo, le commutateur se déplace dans
la position opposée au “repère vert”.

Vous pouvez modifier la position du

commutateur manuellement.

Remarques

Chargez la batterie avant de l’utiliser.

Utilisez uniquement le chargeur ou le système de
charge spécifié.

Pour éviter tout accident résultant d’un court-
circuit, veillez à ce qu’aucun objet métallique
n’entre en contact avec les bornes de la batterie
(B dans l’illustration).

Ne pas laisser la batterie rechargeable près du
feu.

N’exposez jamais la batterie à des températures
supérieures à 60°C (140°F), comme dans une
voiture parquée au soleil ou sous le rayonnement
solaire direct.

Conserver la batterie rechargeable au sec.

Ne pas faire subir de chocs à la batterie.

Ne démontez pas et ne transformez pas la
batterie.

Ne court-circuitez pas les bornes (B dans

l’illustration).

Ne transportez pas l’appareil vidéo en saisissant

la batterie.

La charge d’une batterie incomplètement

déchargée n’affecte pas la capacité de charge
originale de la batterie.

then charge it fully. The indication will become

become accurate if you use or leave the battery
pack in a warm place for a long time, or after you
have used the battery pack many times.

Using the battery pack

Attach the battery pack to the video equipment
securely. Refer to the operating instructions of
the video equipment for further information.

Charge the battery pack using a specified charger
such as AC-V615 AC power adaptor before use.

Refer to the operating instructions of the battery
charger for charging operation and time.

The switch on the battery pack (

A in the

illustration)
This switch is provided so that you can identify a
charged battery pack.

When a battery pack is removed from a battery
charger after charging, the switch automatically
moves to the “green mark” position. When a
battery pack is removed from video equipment,
the switch moves opposite to the “green mark”
position.

You can change the position of the switch
manually.

Notes

Charge before use.

Use only the specified charger or equipment with
the charging function.

To prevent accident from a short circuit, do not
allow metal objects to come into contact with the
battery terminals (B in the illustration.)

Keep the battery pack away from fire.

Never expose the battery pack to temperatures
above 60°C (140°F), such as in a car parked in the
sun or under direct sunlight.

Keep the battery pack dry.

Do not expose the battery pack to any
mechanical shock.

Do not disassemble nor modify the battery pack.

Do not short the terminals (B in the illustration.)

Do not carry the video equipment by grasping
the battery pack.

Charging while some capacity remains does not
affect the original battery capacity.
