Message Key
ᮣ In standby mode, press the Message Key ( ) on the
QWERTY keyboard to quickly open the Messages menu.
Voice Command Key
ᮣ In standby mode, press and hold the Voice Command Key
(
) to activate the Voice recognition feature.
Speakerphone Key
ᮣ In standby mode, press the Speakerphone Key ( ) to
switch between the earpiece and the speakerphone,
before or during a call.
Lock/Symbol Key
• In standby mode, press and hold the Lock/Symbol Key ( ) to lock
or unlock the keypad.
• When in a text entry field press the Lock/Symbol Key to enter
symbols. Press the Navigation key left or right to scroll through the
symbols.
Dialogue Boxes
Dialogue boxes prompt for action, inform you of status, or warn
of situations such as low battery. Dialogue boxes and their
definitions are outlined below.
• Choice
– Example: “Save Message?”
• Reconfirm
– Example: “Erase All Messages?”
• Performing
– Example: “Sending...” “Connecting...”
• Completed
– Example: “Message Saved”
• Information
– Example: “New Message”
• Error
– Example: “System Error!”
• Warning
– Example: “Low Battery,” “Memory Full!”
