CAUTIONS

BATTERY CAUTIONS

 The operating temperature or storage conditions of alkaline batteries may cause

the flash low-battery indicator to blink even when the battery has sufficient

power. With continued use, the low-battery indicator will disappear and battery

performance will improve. If the blinking low-battery indicator still appears, replace

the batteries.

 Lithium batteries may become hot due to high temperature or successive use. This

could trigger the battery’s internal thermal safety switch shutting off the circuit and

terminating flash charging. Wait until the batteries become cold before using this

unit and the flash again.

 The chart below shows performance data when using new batteries in our standard

test environment. Battery performance may decrease at low temperatures. Therefore

it is advisable to have a spare set of batteries.

 Remove the batteries when storing this unit for an extended period of time.
