You can change the brightness of the display’s
backlight.
Press DIMMER on the unit repeatedly.
The backlight’s brightness changes cyclically.
Tip
The brightness level is factory set at high.
You can check the playing time and remaining
time of the current track or that of the disc.
Checking the remaining time
(CD)
Press DISPLAY on the remote repeatedly
during playback.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
Track number
t Elapsed playing time on the
current track t Remaining time on the current
track t Remaining time on the current disc * t
Clock display t BASS level t TREBLE level
* “– –.– –” appears during Program Play.

time (CD)
Press DISPLAY on the remote repeatedly in
stop mode.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
x During Program Play with a program
Last track number t Total playing time of the
program ** t Total number of programed tracks
t Clock display t BASS level t TREBLE
level
**“– –.– –” appears when the total playing time of the
disc exceeds 100 minutes or when the selected track
number is 21 or above for a disc with 21 tracks or
more.
x During other times
