LED Camera Lamp KH 3350

Please read these operating instructions carefully before
the fi rst use of the appliance and keep them in a safe
place for later reference. Pass these operating instructions
on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future
date.

Intended use

This LED Camera Lamp is intended exclusively for non-
commercial use as extra illumination in photo and video
recordings.
Any other, or an additional, usage is considered as
improper and can lead to damage. No liability/warranty
will be granted for damages resulting from improper
use or from unauthorized modifi cations of the appliance.

Safety Instructions

For safe handling of the device observe the following
safety information:

This LED Camera Lamp uses Class 1 LEDs.
Do not look directly, unprotected or for a longer
period in the light beam.

Do not direct the beam of light directly into the eyes

of other people or animals.
Before use check the device for visible external

damage. Do not take into use an appliance that
is damaged or has been dropped.
Arrange for a damaged unit to be replaced by

Customer Services.
Do not make any unauthorised modifi cations or

changes to the unit.
Protect the device from moisture and liquid penetration.

Do not use the appliance adjacent to open fl ames.

Interaction with batteries

Danger exists from uses other than those intended!

Do not throw batteries into a fi re.

Never short-circuit batteries.

Do not attempt to recharge batteries.

Regularly check the condition of the batteries.

Leaking battery acid can cause permanent damage
to the appliance. Special care should be taken
when handling a damaged or leaking battery.
Risk of acid burns! Wear protective gloves.
Store batteries in a place inaccessible to children.

If swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
If you do not intend to use the appliance for an

extended period, remove the batteries.

Check that all of the listed items supplied are present
and do not show signs of damage.
In the event of an incomplete delivery or damage due
to defective packaging or transport, contact the Service
Hotline (see "Warranty and Service").

Inserting the batteries

To operate the LED Camera Lamp, 2 x 1.5V Batteries
of the type AAA/Micro (supplied) are required.

Open the battery compartment cover on the

rear panel.
Insert 2 AAA/Micro batteries into the battery

compartment. Pay heed to the polarity markings
shown in the battery compartment.
Then close the battery compartment by replacing

the cover and letting it snap into place.

Mounting the LED Lamp

The LED Camera Lamp can be screwed to a tripod with
the ¼" thread or mounted with the knurled screw onto
the camera accessory shoe.

Mounting onto a camera

Push the LED Camera Lamp to the stop in the camera
accessory shoe and then secure it with the knurled
screw.

Switching the LED lamp on and off

With the slide switch on the appliance top panel,
you can turn the LED Camera Lamp on and off .
Slide the switch to the "ON" position to turn the
LED Camera Lamp on.
Slide the switch to the "OFF" position to turn the
LED Camera Lamp off .

Cleaning

Important!

Ensure that no liquids can permeate into the interior
of the LED Camera Lamp. It could cause irreparable
damage to the appliance.
Clean the housing with a lightly moistened cloth.
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials.

Storage

If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time,
remove the batteries and store it in a clean, dry place.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is
subject to the provisions of European
Directive 2002/96/EC.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal
centre or at your community waste facility. Observe
the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt,
please contact your waste disposal centre.

Disposing of batteries

Do not dispose of batteries with household waste.
Every consumer is statutorily obliged to dispose of
batteries at a collection site of his community/city
district or at a retail store. This obligation is intended to
ensure that batteries are disposed of in an environmen-
tally safe fashion. Only dispose of batteries when they
are fully discharged.

Dispose of the packaging materials in an
environmentally responsible manner.

Warranty and Service

You receive a 3-year warranty for this appliance as
of the purchase date. This appliance has been manu-
factured with care and meticulously examined before
delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the
event of a warranty claim, please make contact by
telephone with our Service Department. Only in this
way can a post-free despatch for your goods be
assured. The warranty covers only claims for material
and manufacturing defects, not for transport damage,
wearing parts or for damage to fragile components,
e.g. buttons or batteries.
This appliance is intended solely for private, not
commercial, use. If this product has been subjected to
improper or inappropriate handling, abuse, or modifi -
cations not carried out by one of our authorised sales
and service outlets, the warranty will be considered
void. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way
by this warranty. The warranty period is not extended
by repairs eff ected under warranty. This applies also to
replaced and repaired parts.
Damages or defects discovered after purchase are to
be reported directly after unpacking, at the latest two
days after the purchase date.
Repairs carried out after lapse of the warranty period
are subject to charge.
