Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Korg M50 Workstation. To help you get the most out of your new
instrument, please read this manual carefully.

Main features

The M50 Editor and the M50 Plug-In Editor are applications for Macintosh or Windows that allow
you to edit the M50’s programs, combinations, songs, drum kits, arpeggio patterns, effects, and
global settings.

The M50 Editor is a stand-alone editor.

The M50 Plug-In Editor is an editor that is compatible with the VST, Audio Units, or RTAS
formats. It lets you use the M50 just like a plug-in instrument from within your DAW (Digital
Audio Workstation) software or other host application.
