4 Press or to highlight Date/Time, then press
OK/ENTER. The SETTINGS-Time-Date/Time menu
opens.
5 Press or to highlight Mode, then press
OK/ENTER. A menu opens.
6 Press or to highlight Custom (to set the
options manually) or Auto (the options are
automatically set by the TV signal source).
7 Press OK/ENTER to close the menu.
8 Press or to highlight Time Zone, then press
OK/ENTER. The Time-Time Zone menu opens.
9 Press or to select your time zone. You can
select Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific,
Alaska, Hawaii, Atlantic, or Newfoundland.
10 Press OK/ENTER to close the menu.
11 If your viewing area observes daylight savings
time, press or to highlight Daylight
Savings, then press OK/ENTER.
12 Press or to select On, then press OK/ENTER
to close the menu.
13 If you selected Custom for Mode:
• Press or to highlight Year, Month, or
Date, then press or to adjust the setting.
• Press or to highlight Time, press or to
move to the hour, minute, or AM/PM field,
then press or to adjust the setting.
14 Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or
press EXIT to close the menu.
Setting the sleep timer
You can specify the amount of time before your TV
automatically turns off.
To set the sleep timer:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
2 Press or to highlight SETTINGS, then press
or OK/ENTER. The SETTINGS menu opens.
3 Press or to highlight Time, then press
OK/ENTER. The SETTINGS-Time menu opens.
4 Press or to highlight Sleep Timer, then
press OK/ENTER. A menu opens.
5 Press or to select the amount of time before
your TV turns off automatically. To turn off the
sleep timer, select Off.
6 Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or
press EXIT to close the menu.
