Disabling Power Saver

Disabling Power Saver is a two-step process. First, the menu item is turned on, and then the menu item is selected.

Turn the printer off.

Press and hold

while turning the printer on.

Release the buttons when the clock appears.

CONFIG MENU

appears on the first line of the display.

Press

until

Energy Conserve

appears, and then press

.

Press

until

Off

appears, and then press

.

Submitting Selection

appears. The operator panel returns to the CONFIG MENU.

Exit Config Menu

appears, and then press

.

Resetting the printer

appears briefly. The operator panel returns to Ready.

to enter the menus.

Settings

appears, and then press

Setup Menu

appears, and then press

Power Saver

appears, and then press

Disabled

appears is on the display, and then press

Submitting Selection

appears. Power Saver is disabled.

Encrypting the disk

Warning:

All resources on the hard disk will be deleted. Resources residing in flash memory or in RAM remain
unaffected.

Note: This setting is only available when a hard disk is installed.

while turning the printer on.

Release the buttons when the clock appears.

CONFIG MENU

appears on the first line of the display.

Disk Encryption

appears, and then press

.

Press

until

Enable

appears, and then press

.

Contents will be lost. Continue?

appears.

Press

Yes

appears, and then press

.

The Encrypting Disk progress bar appears.

Press

when the disk encryption finishes.

Press

until

Exit Config Menu

appears, and then press

.

To disable disk encryption:

Turn the printer off.

Press and hold

and

while turning the printer on.

The clock appears followed by CONFIG MENU.
