Removing the fuser for long-term storage
If the printer will be turned off for a month or longer, remove the fuser and store it in a clean and convenient place.
CAUTION: The fuser and the inside of the printer near the fuser may be hot. Wait for the fuser to cool before
removing it.
1 Turn the printer off.
2 Grasp the handhold.
3 Open the upper door.
