correctly?

Ensure that all of the cables are connected correctly. Make sure that
only one video signal cable is attached at a time. See section

3.1.

.

Do your TV video settings cor-
respond to the video connection
method you have used?

TV’s settings and the video connection method. Using the remote
control, click

Options/Settings

, then Connection, then choose

your options.

Optimizing video
connections.

What connectivity method will pro-
duce the best quality?

For optimal quality and performance, the best video connection is the
HDMI cable (included).

Viewing photos.

Does it take several seconds to load
a picture?

Depending on file size, photos may take several seconds to load prop-
erly. Reducing the photo’s resolution will reduce the file size, as well,
and allow the file to load faster.

“Empty Folder” mes-
sage appears.

Are there compatible files in the ap-
propriate folder?

If you know that there are compatible files in the folder and they are
not being displayed, move the power switch on the back of the LaCin-
ema Black to the OFF position, wait several seconds, and then turn
the LaCinema Black on. Your files should now be displayed.

Make sure also that parental controls have not prevented the file from
being displayed. See

4.6. Controlling Access to Files
