Illumination: High-output
incandescent sealed beam
lamps provide glare-free light
distribution. 6 V, 12 W bi-pin
halogen has an expected life of
100 hours.
Housing: Heavy-duty
steel cabinet is finished in
white baked-on powder
paint providing scratch and
corrosion resistance. Optional
black and special color paint
finishes are available, see
options on back for ordering
details. All metal lamp housing
and swivel assemblies in white
color to match unit housing.
Lamp heads are fully adjustable
and feature lockable swivels.
Units are designed for recessed
installation in wall and ceiling
applications by T-slot holes
provided on all four sides of
the unit housing. Mounting bars
(supplied by others) allow XC-
R-C unit installation in T-grid
type suspended ceilings.
Battery: Maintenance-free,
sealed, lead calcium battery
has an estimated service life
of 5 years, and an operating
temperature range of
65°F (19°C) to 85°F (30°C).
Nickel cadmium batteries are
optional.
Electronics: 120/277 VAC
dual voltage input with surge-
protected, solid-state circuitry.
Fully automatic, temperature
compensating, variable rate
float charging system is
complete with low voltage
disconnect, AC lockout,
brownout protection, AC
indicator lamp and test switch.
Code Compliance
All models are UL 924 listed
and meet NFPA 101 Life Safety
Code, NEC, OSHA and City of
Chicago codes.
Warranty
Three year unit warranty
(excludes lamps). One year full
plus four year prorated battery
warranty (lead calcium). Five
year full plus five year prorated
battery warranty (nickel
cadmium).
