Combining and Using Pioneer AV Equipment

EXT

❒ It is not assumed that the IP-BUS equipment

(including those to be sold in the future) can
be connected to the AV Head Unit (AVH-
P6400CD or AVH-P6400). Such equipment is
called “external unit (EXT)” in this manual.

❒ This cannot be used unless the AV Head Unit

is combined and the source unit is connected
by IP-BUS.

Displaying the EXT MENU

Press the A.MENU (AUDIO) button when
the source is EXT.

Select “EXT” and press the A.MENU
(AUDIO) button.
The EXT MENU is displayed as follows:
1 — 6 KEY
FUNCTION1
FUNCTION2
FUNCTION3
FUNCTION4
AUTO/MANUAL

❒ The features assigned to each option vary

depending on the equipment to be connected.
For details, refer to the operation manual of
the external unit that is connected to the navi-
gation unit.

❒ Some features require holding down the but-

ton on the remote control for more than two
seconds to switch the enable/disable status.

Using 1–6 KEY

press the A.MENU (AUDIO) button.

number.
