3.6.6 Add Phrase
Click the Add phrase button. In the
Add phrase dialog box enter a new phrase
such as 王建民 and then click OK.
In the Phrase Input dialog box, correct
any characters with the wrong pronunciation
in the Phonetics field. You can also click
the button to hear its pronunciation. In
the Note area, you can provide a note for
the selected phrase.
When you have finished making chang-
es, click OK. When asked Do you want
to replace all? click Yes and the newly
constructed phrase will be applied to the
entire article. If this phrase appears in any
other sentences in the article you can use the
Redo phrase segmentation command to
re-segment the sentence quickly.
In the Chinese Expert phrase database
you will now see an entry for 王建民.
Note: If the Pinyin Setting is Zhuyin, the
Zhuyin will be displayed. The
button is also changed to .
Note: When you hover the cursor over a
term, in the Sentence Segmentation
pane, its English translation will be
shown (if available) as a Tip. Notes
about the term will also be shown if
available.
