Note

You can stop the setup process at any time by pressing MENU + OK to save
any changes and exit, or by pressing MENU + CANCEL to quit without
saving. The phone will automatically time-out and exit the menu screen if
there are no inputs from the user.

Use

keys on the control pad to select ENABLE or DIS-

ABLE.

The

key can also be used as a backspace key to delete characters.

Display Name

2. Use the numeric keypad to enter the display name

To type text characters, press the appropriate key on the numeric keypad (see

figure 1

on page 15). For example, to type a “z” press the 9 key until the low-

ercase z appears—the displayed sequence would be:
9 W X Y Z w x y z.

ADSL DIalup

Some Internet Service Providers (mostly ADSL) use PPPoE which requires that the user enter an ID and a
password to access the Internet. In this case, enable ADSL DIALUP and enter the PPPoE ID and
PPPoE password.
