This addendum accompanies your C9x6i, and C954i Assembly Guides. Additional split washers have been added which affect the hardware
kit and assembly steps.
A new split washer (shown below) has been added to the
hardware kit, and is used in steps 2, 3, and 7. Changes to the Assembly
Replace steps 2 and 3 of the Assembly Guide with the
following:
Place the left side upright support into the base frame side
bracket.
Secure the upright support to the side bracket using
four socket head screws (A), two split washers (H),
four washers (B), and two locknuts (F). Finger tighten.
Place the right side upright support into the base frame side
bracket.
Secure the upright support to the side bracket using
four socket head screws (A), two split washers (H),
four washers (B), and two locknuts (F). Finger tighten.
Note: Sandwich each split washer between the head of the
screw and the flat washer. Refer to the illustration for proper
placement.
