Entering a System User Name and Password
First time you access the Administration Page, you need to log on with user
name and a password.
Configuring a KIRK Wireless Server 300 Using Static IP
Address
This section describes how to configure a KWS300 using static IP address.
Initial System Access KWS300
IP address of the KWS DHCP assigned or
192.168.0.1 if DHCP
server is not available.
User Name admin
Password kws300
Note The default user name of the system is admin and the default password of
the system is kws300. It is strongly recommended to change the password,
please refer to
“Security Configuration” on page 4-5 .
The KWS300 is pre-configured to use DHCP. If DHCP is not available, it
will fall back to static (192.168.0.1).
Prior to firmware release PCS05B_, by default, the KWS300 used static IP
address (192.168.0.1).
The current IP Address of the KWS300 can be discovered using UPnP.
