Switching the video
output terminal to be
viewed
Use the procedure below to switch the video output signal
to be viewed between the HDMI OUT terminal and an
analog out put terminal ( COMPONENT VIDEO or VIDEO
out put terminals).
Caution
• The picture may not be displayed for a while when the
video out put terminal is switched.
• When the HDMI OUT terminal is selected, no video
signals a re output from the other video output
te rminals.
• When a video out put terminal other than the HDMI
OUT terminal is selected, no audio and video signals
a
re output from the HDMI OUT terminal.
 Press VIDEO SELECT.
• The cu rrent video output terminal is displayed on the
TV sc reen and on the player’s front panel display.
To switch the video out put terminals, press
/.
• The video out put terminal setting can also be
switched by pressing   /  on the
player’s front panel.
Switching the output
video resolution
Use the procedure below to switch the output video
resolution from the various video output terminals.
Caution
• On some devices (TV, AV receiver or amplifier, etc.),
the video o r audio may not be output properly when
the resolution is switched. If this happens, use
OUTPUT RESOLUTION to set a resolution at which
the video and audio a
re properly output.
• When video signals a re being output with a resolution
of 1080/24 p, 1080/60i, 1080/60p or 720/60p from the
HDMI OUT terminal or COMPONENT VIDEO output
te
rminals, the picture may be output with an aspect
ratio of 16:9, even if the TV Aspect Ratio is set to 4:3
(Standard).
• The picture may not be displayed for a while when the
resolution is switched.
 Press OUTPUT RESOLUTION.
• The cu rrent output video resolution setting is
dis played on the TV screen and on the player’s front
panel display.
To switch the out
put video resolution, press OUTPUT
RESOLUTION again or press /.

Seconda ry Audio Switch the BD-ROM’s seconda ry audio
( page 26).
Now Playing Dis play the playback screen of the
cu rrently playing track or file.
O riginal/Play List Switch the DVD-R/-RW’s (VR fo rmat) list
sc reen between the original list and the
playlist.
Add to HMG Playlist Add the selected t rack or file to the HMG
Playlist ( page 32).
Delete f rom HMG
Playlist
Delete the selected t rack or file from the
HMG Playlist ( page 33).
Out put Video
Resolution
Switch the out put video resolution from
