Putting the batteries in the
remote control
1 Open the rear cover.
2 Insert the batteries (AA/R6 x 2).
Inse rt as indicated by the / marks into the battery
com partment.
3 Close the rear cover.
Close secu rely (a click should be heard).
Caution
• Do not use any batte ries other than the ones
s pecified. Also, do not use a new battery together with
an old one.
• When loading the batte ries into the remote control,
set them in the proper direction, as indicated by the
polarity marks (  and ).
• Do not heat batte ries, disassemble them, or throw
them into flames o r water.
• Batte ries may have different voltages, even if they look
simila r. Do not use different kinds of batteries
togethe r.
• To prevent leakage of battery fluid, remove the
batte ries if you do not plan to use the remote control
fo r a long period of time (1 month or more). If the fluid
should leak, wi pe it carefully off the inside of the case,
then inse rt new batteries. If a battery should leak and
the fluid should get on you r skin, flush it off with large
quantities of wate r.
• When dis posing of used batteries, please comply with
gove rnmental regulations or environmental public
inst ruction’s rules that apply in your country/area.
• WARNING
Do not use o
r store batteries in direct sunlight or
othe r excessively hot place, such as inside a car or
nea r a heater. This can cause batteries to leak,
ove rheat, explode or catch fire. It can also reduce the
life o r performance of batteries.
