Fast-Forward/Fast-Reverse
7 SEARCH buttons (1, ¡)
Press one of the SEARCH buttons ( 1, ¡) during playback.
Press and hold the ¡ button for fast forward the disc; press and
hold the 1 button for fast reverse.
¶ During playback of MP3s, fast-forward/fast-reverse are sup-
ported only for tracks inside the same folder.
7 Super-Fast search
Rotate the jog dial while pressing one of the SEARCH but-
tons (
1, ¡).
¶ Hold down one of the SEARCH buttons (1, ¡) while turning
the jog dial in the desired direction to enter super-fast forward
or super-fast reverse mode.
¶ During Super-Fast search, the search direction is determined
by the direction the jog dial is turned. The direction of the
pressed SEARCH button (
1, ¡) is ignored.
¶ When the jog dial rotation stops, the unit returns to playback
mode.
¶ When the SEARCH button (1, ¡) is released, Super-Fast
search is canceled.
¶ During playback of MP3s, fast-forward/fast-reverse are sup-
ported only for tracks inside the same folder.
Track Cueing
7 TRACK SEARCH buttons (4, ¢)
Press one of the TRACK SEARCH buttons ( 4, ¢).
¶ Each time the button is pressed, the track is cued in the direction
corresponding to the arrow on the button (during playback of a
track, to cue playback to the beginning of the preceding track,
press the
4 button twice). During playback of MP3s, the first
track found in the direction pressed will be cued, and only those
tracks inside the same folder are searched. If Folder Search is
not performed when a CD-ROM is inserted, the tracks in the root
directory only will be cued. In cases in which there are no tracks
in the root directory, playback will start from the track with the
smallest number in the first folder closest to the root directory.
¶ When the Auto Cue function is turned ON, the track will be set in
cue standby position at the beginning of the track after cueing.
¶ When the TRACK SEARCH button (4, ¢) is held depressed,
cueing is performed continuously. If the button is held de-
pressed for two seconds or more, the cue speed increases.

Presione uno de los botones SEARCH ( 1, ¡) durante la
reproducción.
Presione y mantenga presionado el botón ¡ para realizar el
avance rápido en el disco; presione y mantenga presionado el
botón
1 para realizar la inversión rápida.
¶ Durante la reproducción de discos MP3, el avance rápido/
inversión rápida sólo pueden realizarse para las pistas de
dentro de la misma carpeta.
7 Búsqueda súper rápida
Gire el mando de lanzadera mientras presiona uno de los
botones SEARCH (
1, ¡).
¶ Mantenga presionado uno de los botones SEARCH (1, ¡)
mientras gira el mando de lanzadera en la dirección deseada
para establecer el modo de avance súper rápido o de inversión
súper rápida.
¶ Durante la búsqueda súper rápida, la dirección de búsqueda se
determina por la dirección en la que se gira el mando de
lanzadera. Se ignora la dirección del botón SEARCH (
1, ¡)
presionado.
¶ Cuando se deja de girar el mando de lanzadera, el aparato
retorna al modo de reproducción.
¶ Cuando se suelta el botón SEARCH (1, ¡), se cancela la
búsqueda súper rápida.
¶ Durante la reproducción de discos MP3, el avance rápido/
inversión rápida sólo pueden realizarse para las pistas de
dentro de la misma carpeta.
Localización de pistas

Presione uno de los botones TRACK SEARCH ( 4, ¢).
¶ Cada vez que se presiona el botón, la pista se pone en cola en la
dirección correspondiente a la fecha del botón (durante la
reproducción de una pista, para poner en cola la reproducción al
principio de la pista anterior, presione dos veces el botón
4).
Durante la reproducción de discos MP3, se localizará la primera
pista que se encuentre en la dirección presionada, y sólo se
buscarán las pistas de dentro de la misma carpeta. Si no se
efectúa la búsqueda de carpetas cuando se inserta un disco CD-
ROM, sólo se localizarán las pistas del directorio raíz. Cuando no
haya pistas en el directorio raíz, la reproducción se iniciará
desde la pista que tenga el número menor de la primera carpeta
más cerca al directorio raíz.
