JET
Changes the delay time in response to rotation of the jog dial, and
adds a short delay sound to the original, thereby causing an interfer-
ence between the sounds and creating a “swooshing” effect.
¶ The delay time corresponds to the jog dial’s rotation and changes
between 0 ms (when jog dial is completely stopped) to a maxi-
mum of 3 ms.
¶ When the jog dial is rotated continuously, the delay time repeti-
tively changes between 0–3 ms.
¶ When rotation of the jog dial stops, the sound will gradually settle
back to the original sound.
¶ The setting is canceled when the disc is ejected.
ZIP
Changes the pitch in response to the turning of the jog dial, thereby
changing the playback sound.
¶ The pitch change corresponds to the turning of the jog dial; when
the jog dial is stopped the pitch change is 0 %. When the jog dial is
turned clockwise, the pitch changes within the maximum of 100 %
(1 octave higher than the original sound). When the jog dial is
turned counterclockwise, the pitch changes within the maximum
of –1500 % (15 octaves lower than the original sound, a non-audi-
ble frequency).
¶ When rotation of the jog dial stops, the sound will gradually settle
back into the original sound.
¶ The setting is canceled when the disc is ejected.
¶ If the HOLD function is turned ON and the setting is made in the
minus direction, when the HOLD function is next turned ON again,
the “break” effect will be produced.
WAH
Adds a –12 dB/octave filter with cutoff frequency that changes in re-
sponse to jog dial rotation.
¶ The filter changes into a maximum 4 kHz high-pass filter when the
jog dial is turned clockwise; the filter changes into a minimum 150
Hz low-pass filter when the jog dial is turned counterclockwise.
¶ When rotation of the jog dial stops, the sound gradually returns to
the original sound.
¶ The setting is canceled when the disc is ejected.
[HOLD function]
Used to maintain the effect that has been created by the turning of
the jog dial even after the jog dial’s rotation is stopped.
Press the HOLD button during usage of Digital Jog Break
function.
¶ The [JET], [ZIP], or [WAH] indicator in the display stops flashing
and lights steadily, and the effect created at that point is main-
tained so that the jog dial’s turning can be stopped.
¶ When the Time Mode is selected and HOLD function is turned on,
a HOLD indicator ([JET-HOLD], [ZIP-HOLD], [WAH-HOLD]) will be
shown in intervals in the section where the time is displayed.
When TEXT mode is selected, this will not be displayed.
¶ When the HOLD function is turned ON, even if another effect is
selected, the setting prior to the new effect selection will be pre-
served in memory so long as hold is not turned off.
JET

ZIP
Cambia el tono el respuesta al giro del mando de lanzadera,
cambiando de este modo el sonido de reproducción.
¶ El cambio de tono corresponde al giro del mando de lanzadera;
cuando el mando de lanzadera está parado, el cambio de tono es
del 0 %. Cuando se gira el mando de lanzadera hacia la derecha, el
tono cambia dentro de un máximo del 100 % (1 octava más alta
que el sonido original). Cuando se gira el mando de lanzadera
hacia la izquierda, el tono cambia dentro de un máximo del
–1.500 % (15 octavas más bajas que el sonido original, una
frecuencia inaudible).
¶ Cuando se detiene la rotación del mando de lanzadera, el sonido
se repone gradualmente al sonido original.
¶ El ajuste se cancela cuando se expulsa el disco.
¶ Si se activa la función HOLD y se efectúa el ajuste en la dirección
negativa, cuando se vuelva a activar la función HOLD, se
producirá el efecto de “interrupción”.
WAH
Añade un filtro de –12 dB/octava con frecuencia de corte que cambia
en respuesta a la rotación del mando de lanzadera.
¶ El filtro cambia a un filtro de paso alto de 4 kHz como máximo
cuando se gira el mando de lanzadera hacia la derecha; el filtro
cambia a un filtro de paso bajo de 150 Hz como mínimo cuando se
gira el mando de lanzadera hacia la izquierda.
¶ Cuando se detiene la rotación del mando de lanzadera, el sonido
vuelve gradualmente al sonido original.
¶ El ajuste se cancela cuando se expulsa el disco.
[Función de retención (HOLD)]
Se utiliza para mantener el efecto que ha sido creado girando el
mando de lanzadera incluso después de haber detenido la rotación
del mando de lanzadera.
Presione el botón HOLD mientras emplea la función de
interrupción de mando de lanzadera digital.
¶ El indicador [JET], [ZIP], o [WAH] cdel visualizador dejará de
parpadean y quedará encendido, y el efecto creado en este punto
se retendrá para poder dejar de girar el mando de lanzadera.
¶ Cuando se selecciona el modo de tiempo y se activa la función
HOLD, uno de los indicadores HOLD ([JET-HOLD], [ZIP-HOLD],
[WAH-HOLD]) se mostrará a intervalos en la sección en la que se
visualiza el tiempo.
Cuando se selecciona el modo TEXT, no se visualizarán los
indicadores.
¶ Cuando se activa la función HOLD, aunque se haya seleccionado
otro efecto, el ajuste anterior a la selección del nuevo efecto se
conservará en la memoria siempre y cuando no se desactive la
retención.
