Setting a Route to

our Destination
Searching for Your Destination by Specifying the Tele-
phone Number
If you know the telephone number of your destination, you can quickly search for your destina-
tion by specifying the telephone number.
1 Select “New Destination” from Main menu, and select “Phone Number Search”. Click
the OK button.

If you press the numeric keypad while a map screen is displayed, a telephone number
entry screen appears.
2 Enter the telephone number and select “OK” and click the OK button.
The list of POIs matching the numbers you entered appears. If you enter your favorite
number completely a list of matching place names appears automatically.

When entering the telephone number, enter it in the same way as if you were dialing it.
You do not need to enter spaces or hyphens (-). For example, even if the telephone
number is XXX-XXX-XXXX, you enter XXXXXXXXXX. A hyphen is automatically inserted
after the third digit and the sixth-digit are entered. Also, you do not need to enter coun-
try code at the beginning of the telephone number.

If you cannot find the matching telephone numbers, a message confirming whether to
enter the telephone number again, appears. Select “Yes” and click the OK button; then
enter the telephone number again. (If you select “No”, the search is canceled.)
3 Select your destination and click the OK button.
If you move the joystick to the left, detailed information for the selected category
appears.
If you click the OK button, route calculation starts.
