CONNECTIONS
When connecting or changing the connection of units, make
sure to first turn off the power switch and disconnect the
power cord from the outlet.
1. Connection of Input Equipment

When connecting an analog player to the CH-4 PHONO 4
connectors, first remove the short-circuit pin plugs (2) from
the jacks.
The short-circuit pin plugs are provided to reduce any residual
noise when an analog player is not connected to the PHONO
4 jacks, thus producing the highest possible sound quality.
After removing the pin plugs, store them securely, and
replace them in their original jacks any time an analog player
is not physically connected.
*1 Connect the cord for the analog player’s ground.
This terminal is exclusively for an analog player and is not
a safety earth.
*2 If you are using the unit with the separately sold CMX-
3000, CMX-5000, CDJ-1000, CDJ-100S, CDJ-500S, or
CDJ-500
II connected to the LINE terminals, the fader
start function can be used if the unit and CD player are
connected with a control cord.
CONEXIONES
Antes de conectar o de cambiar las conexiones entre las
unidades, asegúrese primero de desconectar el interruptor de la
alimentación y de desenchufar el cable de la alimentación de la
toma de corriente.
1. Conexión del equipo de entrada
Cuando conecte un giradiscos analógico a los conectores CH-4
PHONO 4, desenchufe primero las clavijas cortocircuitadoras (2)
de las tomas. Las clavijas cortocircuitadoras están provistas para
reducir el ruido residual que puede producirse cuando no se ha
conectado ningún giradiscos a las tomas PHONO 4, con el fin de
conseguir un sonido de la más alta calidad posible. Después de
desenchufar las clavijas cortocircuitadoras, guárdelas en un
lugar seguro, y vuélvalas a conectar en sus tomas originales
cuando no tenga físicamente conectado un giradiscos
analógico.
*1 Conecte el cable para la toma de tierra del giradiscos
analógico. Este terminal es exclusivo para un giradiscos
analógico y no es una toma de tierra de seguridad.
*2 Si emplea la unidad con los dispositivos de las series CMX-
3000, CMX-5000, CDJ-1000, CDJ-500S, o CDJ-500 II
conectados, vendidos por separado, conectados a los
terminales LINE, la función de inicio de fundido podrá
utilizarse si la unidad y el reproductor de CD están
conectados mediante un cable de control.
