Usingdifferent
entertainment displays
You can enjoy entertainment displays while lis-
tening to each sound source.
1 Press MULTI-CONTROL to display the
main menu.
FUNCTION, AUDIO and ENTERTAINMENT
appear on the display.
2 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select
ENTERTAINMENT.
Turn to change the menu option; press to se-
lect.
The entertainment display currently selected
appears on the display.
3 Turn MULTI-CONTROL to change the
display.
Turn MULTI-CONTROL clockwise to switch be-
tween the displays in the following order:
BGV 1 (background visual 1)BGV 2 (back-
ground visual 2)BGV 3 (background visual
3)BGV 4 (background visual 4)BGP 1
(background picture 1)BGP 2 (background
picture 2)BGP 3 (background picture 3)
BGP 4 (background picture 4)BGP 5
(background picture 5)S/A 1 (spectrum ana-
lyzer 1)S/A 2 (spectrum analyzer 2)
LEVEL 1 (level meter 1)LEVEL 2 (level
meter 2)E.CLK (entertainment clock)OFF

# You can also switch between the displays in
the reverse order by turning MULTI-CONTROL
counterclockwise.
# To cancel the entertainment display mode,
press BAND/ESC.
4 Press MULTI-CONTROL to select the cur-
rent display.
The selected entertainment display is dis-
played.
Usingthe PGM button
You can operate the preprogrammed functions
for each source by using PGM.
% Press PGM to turn pause on when se-
lecting the following sources:
! Built-in CD Player
! DVD player/multi-DVD player
! Multi-CD Player
# To turn pause off, press PGM again.
% Press PGM and hold to turn BSM on
when selecting Tuner as the source.
Press PGM and hold until the BSM turns on.
# To cancel the storage process, press PGM
again.
% Press PGM and hold to turn BSSM on
when selecting TV as the source.
Press PGM and hold until the BSSM turns on.
# To cancel the storage process, press PGM
again.
Rewritingthe
entertainment displays
You can rewrite the entertainment display.
Please create or download the data using your
Computer, and record it on CD-R. For details,
please visit
http://www.pioneer.co.jp/car/pclink3a/.
Important
Once the rewriting process has started, do not re-
move the front panel or turn the ignition off, until
it is completed.
1 Press SOURCE and hold until the unit
turns off.
