REC MODE
– Use to select the copy mode: disc, track
or program. (p.20–23)
ERASE – Use to select the erase mode: last track,
multiple tracks, all tracks or TOC. (p.32–33)
FINALIZE – Press to start finalizing a disc. (p.31)
SYNCHRO – Use to select the synchro recording mode
when recording from an external component. (p.40–41)
AUTO SPACE – Press to switch on/off automatic track
spacing when copying a programmed playlist. (p.23)
NAME– Use to cycle through CD text naming options.

MENU/DELETE – Press to cycle through the
preference menu options. Press to delete characters while
editing CD text. (p.16, 24–25)

– Press to put the recorder into

REC VOL (Jog dial)– Turn to adjust the recording
level. Push to switch between fixed and variable level
recording in digital recording mode (p.29, 39–41). Also
turn to select options in the menu (p.16); cycle through
characters in CD text (p.24); skip tracks while stopped or
during playback (p.15). Push the jog dial to select
characters in CD text (p.25); confirm menu settings
(p.16); play a disc (when stopped) (p.15).
