This 1-DIN AV headunit with a 6.5-inch wide-screen in-dash colour
display is designed according to Pioneer’s concepts of integration,
control, expansion and versatility. The AVH-P6400CD offers users the
convenience of a built-in CD player and AM/FM RDS tuner. The EEQ+
Equaliser System controls audio fine-tuning functions and includes
Low/High Pass Filters. It also has a built-in MOSFET
50 W x 4 amplifier, plus 3 RCA Hi-Volt pre-outs to connect external
amplifiers. The AVH-P6400CD can operate as a stand-alone unit, or be
connected to a Pioneer Navigation system or video source such as a
DVD player or TV tuner to create a full-featured AV or navigation
system. Another unique point is that the GUI (Graphical User Interface)
and voice control features of this unit are enhanced when connecting
the AVIC-900DVD/800DVD DVD Cyber Navi units.

The AV Master incorporated into the 6.5-inch in-dash colour display
remains the core of this versatile 1-DIN unit. Integration is also key in
this unit: users can expand their system with a Pioneer Navigation
system or video source such as a DVD player or TV tuner. The sound
quality is bound to satisfy, as it integrates the state of the art in audio
technology, such as the MOSFET 50 W x 4 amplifier. And that’s not all:
the EEQ+ Equaliser System comes equipped with an on-board network
of Low and High Pass Filters for convenient sound tuning using external
amplifiers. All important controls are located directly on the front panel
making it easy to use.
