Nikon Scan 3.1 CD-ROM (1)
This CD contains driver software for your Nikon
scanner. Depending on the country of sale, it
may also include a variety of sample software.
IEEE 1394/Firewire interface board (1)
(for Windows and Macintosh; includes user’s manual)
If you are using a Windows or old-model (beige)
Macintosh G3 desktop computer, you may need
to install this PCI board before you will be able
to connect your scanner to your computer. This
board can not be used with laptop computers
or computers not equipped with a PCI slot, and
is not required in the case of Macintosh com-
puters with built-in Firewire ports.
Reference CD (1)
This CD contains a reference manual for the
Nikon Scan driver software, together with in-
stallers for Adobe Acrobat Reader, the software
used to view the manual.
“Open me first” envelope (1)
This envelope contains a packing list, user reg-
istration cards, and other important documents.
