• The scanning area is 8.5 inches (216 mm) wide by 11.7 inches (297
mm) long, enabling scanning of letter-size documents.

• For scanning transparency films for OHPs (overhead
transparencies), place a sheet of white paper on top.
• If the document is curled or creased, make sure that it is
straightened and flattened before setting it in position.
• If the paper has staples or clips attached, make sure they do not
scratch the surface of the glass.
